OUR PROGRAMS

Care Closet

The Hood County Senior Center Care Closet program aims to provide gently used walkers, wheelchairs, shower chairs, and bedside commodes for those in need. In addition, we also have limited supplies of incontinence products, toiletries, and personal care items.

Transportation

Hood County Senior Center provides transportation in our vehicles to the Senior Center, non-emergent medical appointments, the pharmacy, the grocery store, the bank, the barber or beauty shop, etc. We also contract with The Transit System to bring clients to/from the Senior Center for lunch and activities.

Thrive 60+

LIFE ENRICHMENT
Our staff and volunteers provide activities, education and interaction at the Center five days a week to help combat social isolation and ensure our clients are safe and well. We have a Veteran’s club, cards, dominoes, exercise, The Center still offers a Thursday night dance for those who enjoy an evening out!
